It was arctic conditions to welcome the committed paddlers back to Hadspen after a long break, with a few hail spells throughout the afternoon, only those dedicated were racing to set there handicap marks. The conditions led to some slower times than expected giving plenty of room for improvement over the upcoming season. The high water level and slight variations gave the paddlers something to look out for on there way up river. The race times and Handicaps for next week are below. Guntime for this week will be at 6:30pm. If you miss your start time you can still race, have your time recorded and score points. New paddlers will be able to set their handicap time.
