After a warm day the paddlers were out in force with a equal best 13 competitors including newbie April Nelson, welcome April. It was a very fast night indeed with 8 paddlers achieving season bests, including Blake reclaiming the Seasons fastest time and also a near miss of 1 second to Mark Rathmell. Those who beat their season best include Jack, Amanda, Paul Kelly, Peter, Phil Nelson, Phil Barratt, Blake and Richard. Special mention must go to Richard who knocked a staggering 2:11 off his best time, when he was paddling with no one to chase. Of those that missed out on their best times Paul “Consistent” Walker was close, Claye is getting back to pre christmas form and I blew up at half way trying to hold Claye and Paul Kelly off.
