A great night on the water with barely a breath of wind and the river gently flowing, conditions were set for a quick race. Jethro flew around the course after a couple of weeks getting to know his new boat, missing his start by six minutes and then finishing three minutes ahead of everyone. Donelda was second with a 30 s personal best, Graham was third with a 60 second PB. Richard and Claye were next over the line with Ryan close behind managing a 45 s PB. Geoff and John, with PB’s, were next over the line with Adam and Justin following to round out the top ten. Overall a tough tight race with lots of small battles and close finishes with 12 paddlers finishing in a 1 minute spread.
