A great night on the water with barely a breath of wind led to some great times. John showed the way knocking seven minutes off his time from last week, I followed him about three minutes faster than expected with Graham just behind me with a similar improvement. James continued to enjoy his new ski taking around 90 seconds off his best, Ken also put in some hard work to be about a minute faster than last week.Claye and Phil Wadley were slightly better than last week as well, while Richard Pearson was a couple of minutes faster off his long handicap. We also had Richard McMinn and Roger Butorac out for their time trial runs; while Phil Barratt and Nathalie had a exploration paddle.

Guntime for next week will be at 6:30 pm, (for those new to handicap racing your start time is you handicap after 6:30 pm, ie 13:50 handicap starts at 6:43:50) to be safe be ready to race at 6:40 pm. If you miss your start time you can still race, have your time recorded and score points. New paddlers will be able to set their handicap time. If you are starting more than 20 minutes after your handicap you may be asked to race a shorter course to ensure on water safety.
