A hot night welcomed us back to Hadspen for the first race of 2021, the water was flowing quite fast making it a tough paddle upriver with a rewarding blast back down. Geoff and Ken managed to reel Bill in just before with the finish with two boat lengths between the first three. Phil W, Claye, Phil N and April were next over the line. We welcomed Donelda and Jo back to the races series, Beth had an early start in her paddle. I managed to knock 10 seconds off my previous best.
