A hot day led to a good turn out for the penultimate Hadspen race of the year. Beth was first over the line with a 15 second PB followed by Phil with a 5 second PB. Ken was next over the line about 20 seconds slower than previously and Amanda was a couple of minutes of her best pace.
The end of season BBQ will happen on Tuesday 17th December, we will have a short race from 6:40pm followed by the BBQ. Paid up racers BBQ is covered with limited spots available for extras at a cost of $10. Please let me know if you attending by Sunday 15th December and of any dietary restrictions.

Guntime for next week will be at 6:30 pm, (for those new to handicap racing your start time is you handicap after 6:30 pm, ie 13:50 handicap starts at 6:43:50) to be safe be ready to race at 6:40 pm. If you miss your start time you can still race, have your time recorded and score points. New paddlers will be able to set their handicap time. If you are starting more than 20 minutes after your handicap you may be asked to race a shorter course to ensure on water safety.
