A great night for racing on the river with the water level back down to managable levels after a couple of weeks with high water. Angus was the race winner tonight just pipping Oscar after a long battle over the length of the course, both paddlers dropping more than 2:30 from the personal bests, good job guys. Other than the Purtells battle it was a bit of a slower night on the water with no other personal bests acheived, perhaps sving themselves for the final race for the year next week. Race times are below.

The end of year BBQ for the Paddle n Ski Hadspen Race Series will be held this coming Tuesday. We will have a shorter race distance, the course will be announced on the night but be ready for a short sharp race. The race will start at 6:40 pm and will be a mass start race.
Following the race we will have a BBQ to finish the year off. Paid up Hadspen racers BBQ has already been paid for. Limited additional places for non Hadspen racers are available at $10 a head first in best dressed.
Please let me know if you are coming by Sunday so I can ensure we have the right amount of food.
