Paddle N Ski Hadspen Race 30 October 2018

Another great night of racing with 17 paddlers getting out on the water and having a crack. In the handicap race Jono was first over the line with a quick time putting him well in front of the chasing pack. Duncan was next over followed by Amanda, Claye, Ken, Phil Barratt and Jane who all got PB’s ranging from around a minute to few seconds, great job guys. Angus and Beth paddled Polo Bats on the 4km course and made a good go of it to be just outside their predicted times. Geoff, Chris Bates and Richard all had good paddles but were outside their best. Noel, Roger, Jon and myself all time trialled over the 6.5km course setting good times for the handicap races.

We are proud to have Paddle ‘n’ Ski on board again as our race series sponsor. In conjunction with Stellar Kayaks Australia, Paddle ‘n’ Ski are offering up a great prize for one lucky participant. At the end of the season we will raffle off the prize of $600 off a new Stellar, from Paddle ‘n’ Ski, and a paddle from Stellar Kayaks Australia. The raffle tickets cannot be bought, they must be earned: timing a race, assisting in a rescue or getting a personal best are the ways you can earn a ticket for chance to win this great prize.
