A cold windy night on the water but a great turn out none the less, with 21 paddlers taking the challenge of higher than normal water. In the handicap race Ken was first across the line, followed not far behind by James both grabbing a personal best, 21 and 1 seconds respectively. Geoff and Mike were next just outside there time from last week followed by Jane, Phil Barratt and Phil Nelson, Amanda was next grabbing a personal best of 14 seconds. Claye and Beth were the last of the handicapped racers to finish after assisting in a rescue, thanks for the effort guys.
The time triallists also had a good night on the water setting benchmarks, welcome to all returning and new paddlers.

Guntime for next week will be at 6:30 pm, (for those new to handicap racing your start time is you handicap after 6:30 pm, ie 13:50 handicap starts at 6:43:50) to be safe be ready to race at 6:40 pm. If you miss your start time you can still race, have your time recorded and score points. New paddlers will be able to set their handicap time. If you are starting more than 20 minutes after your handicap you may be asked to race a shorter course to ensure on water safety.
