Paddle ‘n’ Ski Hadspen Race 16 January 2018

A strong upriver breeze greeted paddlers signalling that is was going to be a slog back down river. This didn’t worry Beth or Amanda, both had very quick paddles. Beth was 5:30 faster than her previous best and Amanda was 3:50 faster than her best, great times girls. Phil Wadley, Phil Nelson and Geoff also managed to beat their best times by small margins, good work guys. The others had some work to do with a few just cruising around and one still gettig the new boat under control. All in all a good night on the water, race times are below.

Guntime for next week will be at 6:30pm. If you miss your start time you can still race, have your time recorded and score points. New paddlers will be able to set their handicap time. If you are starting more than 20 minutes after your handicap you may be asked to race a shorter course to ensure on water safety.
