A great night to be on the water to cool off after a warm day. Some tight racing was happening up front while some of the less energetic stopped to help a fallen paddler back into their boat. Paul once again got the race win, again with a small PB; while Mark and Tim had a good fight over the distance with Mark coming out the victor by a boat length. Jono got caught unaware by the current through the willows on the way back down with Alex and myself giving assistance to get him going again from a difficult spot to remount. We welcomed Bill Ward for he first Hadspen race with a solid time to set him on his way.

For the last race of the year we will all be doing the 4km course, around the second bridge pylon and back and then digging in to the BBQ. Guntime for next week will be at 6:30pm.
Regular Hadspen racers (ie those who have paid race fees) will be supplied food and drinks, everyone else it will be BYO for the BBQ.
